When Tim Returned From Iraq

Tim’s first day home after turning to Iraq was just a week after his lil sis was born. Sissy, as we fondly call her, was named Cheryl Ann Maxine after her Aunt and Great Grandmother. She took on the name Sissy within minutes after her birth when her brother Sean called her Sissy. Since then he calls her fuss as I’m sure you can figure out why.
For a few months after Tim’s accident I would notice Sissy staring into one direction or another and smiling as if she could see Tim. Did she – probably not but it’s nice to think that he is watching over her.
