An Apology to Tim’s Army Buddies
I understand some of Tim’s buddies were upset because I had his ribbons removed from his uniform before they closed the casket. I want to send out my deepest regrets and apologize for this action as I was unaware that it meant any sort of disrespect. As a mother I wanted to keep these mementos and did not realize I was going to receive these in his flag case. I do hope you all can understand and accept this apology. If I had a chance to undo just one wrong I have ever done in my whole life it would be this action.
